Since my last update, the 2011 GP went ahead sadly without us, Lee Plain took most of the wins & the championship, with
Charles Morris hot on his tail coming in 2nd, Pete Masson claimed 3rd & we were shortly after in 4th. Tony Bury, Dan Bury & Tim Woodward followed in 5th, 6th & 7th.
The only news for the 2012 season I have for you is the British Superkart Grand Prix will be held at the Snetterton. When we hear more information I'll keep you informed.

Hi everyone,
Just thought I’d update the website quickly & report the news that due to spiralling entry fees, BPV Racing will not be competing at this years British Superkart Grand Prix at Cadwell Park this weekend.
This is a decision has not taken lightly as it means the end of our 2011 season, but we believe that the increased fees are not encouraging drivers into the sport.
Entry fees should be at such a level that it encourages drivers back into or to start Long Circuit kart racing.
BPV Racing wishes all the best to those competing at the GP & hope a solution is found to this serious situation before the start of the 2012 season.
When the results of the 3rd Round of the Championship are released, i'll update the website with our 2011 final championship standing.

BPV Racing is back baby !!
We raced at Mallory Park yesterday, was a great day, we came home with some silverwear & the race report is now ready for your review.

Hello to you all !!
Well we're on the final countdown to the start of the 2011 210 Long Circuit Championship, only a couple of weeks to go & apart from a few last minute changes, we're almost ready.
No major news to report this time, apart from unfortunately there will be no additional rounds added this year, so it is a 3 round season for the Long Circuit challenge, Mallory Park, Oulton Park & Cadwell Park. However, I'm sure the racing will still be great & we look forward to seeing you there !!

Happy New Year everyone !!
Hope you are all recovered from the festive season & if not, well you haven’t got long until the lights go out for the start of the 2011 season !!
Yep, that’s right, BPV Racing is back !!
I’m very please to confirm that BPV Racing will be back this year & we’re raring to get back into competitive racing & challenge for the title.Sadly due to having a year out, we do not have a seeded number, so will be racing No.10.
But don’t think that with a year off, Bob has had a complete break from karting, he’s been busy in the garage coming up with new ways to improve speed, reliability & weight loss ….. so in only a few weeks we will find out if all the hard work has been worth it, as we are testing at Oulton Park around mid February.
BPV Racing would like to congratulate Lee Plain, having had a very successful racing season last year, taking the Long & Short circuit titles, “O” plate & the Grand Prix win … & hope his shelves are strong enough to hold all the trophies !!
With 3 dates confirmed for the 2011 Long Circuit 210 Challenge & and others to be confirmed at a later date, we’re very excited for this year & think it’s going to be one to remember !!

Well got some bad news, unfortunately due to unforeseen circumstances, BPV Racing will not be attending the 1st round of the 210 Long Circuit Championship at Silverstone.

Well, it's been a while since I updated the website, but I’ve only just found out some interesting news worth updating the website for ...................... After 19 long years, BPV Racing is finally returning to Silverstone on 18th April !!

Right, first of all i'm sorry for the delay in getting the final race report on here, but i've been extremely busy since the GP.
Big congrats to Simon Bateman who won the Long Circuit Championship & Charles Morris who won the Short Circuit Championship & hope those who were envolved in incidents at the weekend, we wish you a speedy recovery & see you next month at the presentation evening.

Race report is done for Snetterton. Got a bit of a break now until the GP at Cadwell in July, so Bob's using the time to make sure everythings ready to go to contend for the championship & the coveted GP plate, in the meantime my fiance & i are going to the TT in a few days (much to Bob's jealously cause Rossi & Ago are going to be there this year) !!

Well we have some dates, all provisional at the moment, but it's better than nothing !!
A 1st time visit for the 210's to one of our local circuits, Anglesey, plus the possibility of a 5 round championship !!
Unfortunately, we wont be testing at Oulton on the 10th Feb, but are hoping to get some decent testing in before the championship starts at the end of March !!

Happy New Year !!
Hope you all had a lovely time over the Christmas period & are raring to get your leathers back on for the 2009 season, or if your not competing, getting ready to come & support all the 210 gang !!
Not much news to report, we're hopefully testing at Oulton Park in February (weather permitting) but no dates set in stone for the 2009 Championship apart from the Grand Prix at Cadwell Park in July.
Will update again when we have confirmed dates, hopefully not too long to wait now !!

No news from BPV Racing from really, Bob's still working away in the garage, but we would like to send out a big congratulations to Charles Morris who won the Short Circuit championship last Sunday at Shennington !!
Charles has raced in the 210 class since the mid 80's & has won virtually every title going, well done Charles, David & Mona !!
BPV Racing is looking forward to collecting the number 2 plate & trophy again this year at the 210 karting presentation evening next month & hopefully, it'll be the 1 plate & trophy next year !!

Well, the 2008 Long Circuit racing season may be over & done with, but the preperations for the 2009 season is underway already !!
Bob is busy in the garage building another kart (as well as making room for my new toy, CBR600f), the plan is that the new kart once built will be lighter, therefore quicker, which will help us challenge for the title again !!

Attention Paddock, Attention Paddock, signing on & scruiteneering will take place .......... oh, hang on, I’m a few day's early for that !!
4 days to the British Superkart Grand Prix & we're almost packed & ready to roll, I’m just watching the weather report every few hours to see if we're going to have a repeat of last year's wash-out, but I think I’m becoming a bit obsessed with it now !!
Anyway, it looks to be a good meeting this year, with over 150 competitors & numbers for the 210 class is 15 drivers, which is good news for us spectators & great news for the drivers, as it we should have some good close racing.

Well, it's the start of June which means 6 weeks until the British Superkart Grand Prix at Cadwell Park. The kart is almost race ready, just a couple of tweaks to do & then we'll be ready to challenge for the GP plate !!

Well, we've now got a break until our next Long Circuit meeting, which will be the British Superkart 2008 Grand Prix at Cadwell Park in July. Even if your not planning on racing (but you should), come down for the weekend, it's a brilliant social weekend with a bit of racing to make things intresting !!

Gentlemen ...... start your engines ....... well, not just yet, in a few days !!
I've been told that we have quite a few drivers racing next week at Oulton Park, some include Short Circuit guys as well, which is brilliant news. There's going to be a jam packed grid of all class karts, so there's going to be some very close racing which will be great to watch.
Personally, I am very much forward to this season, why ..... Sarah now, eventually, after months, no, years of asking ..... has got a light weight starter !! (thanks dad)
Right, off to clean the leathers & polish the bodywork !!

"Attention Paddock ... Attention Paddock"
We will be taking our newly refurbished kart to the Malvern Classic Bike Show on Saturday 16th Feb, doors open 10am.
There will be a fairly large stand dedicated to the 210 Challenge, with lots of information available about the forthcoming season & general stuff that you need to know !!
